The �鶹ԭ�� has announced a partnership with �鶹ԭ�� Summit FC, �鶹ԭ��’s brand-new National Women’s Soccer League team. The partnership will include several activations throughout the season and a to-be-announced joint community initiative.����

“The �鶹ԭ�� is excited to partner with �鶹ԭ�� Summit FC in its inaugural season,” said DU Chancellor Jeremy Haefner. “Through education, events, and research, the University makes a significant impact in our �鶹ԭ�� community. Partnering with Colorado’s first professional women’s soccer club is an amazing opportunity to expand that impact and support the growth of the sport.”��

This partnership highlights DU’s commitment to excellence in athletics and uplifting women’s sports in our region. Not only will this partnership showcase the DU brand for members of our �鶹ԭ�� community, including prospective high-school and junior-high students, but DU and �鶹ԭ�� Summit have exciting plans for the duration of the contract, including special programming, engagements, student learning sessions, and more. DU looks forward to co-hosting special events and community initiatives such as a DU Day at the Summit.

Jen Millet, president of �鶹ԭ�� Summit FC, was a recent guest on��, a podcast from DU’s Daniels College of Business. She talked about the community’s support for bringing professional women’s sports back to the Mile High City for the first time in nearly three decades.

“�鶹ԭ�� is such a passionate market for sports, and the fact that it has not had a women’s team is surprising,” Millet said. “The fans have shown up, and they have multiplied, and it’s an amazing indication of the passion people have here for sports. We really feel that the club landed in �鶹ԭ�� because of a movement the community started, and every step in the process since then has been taken alongside them.”��
